Treatments by area · Under-eye

Look rested, never treated.

Nothing earns more "you look tired" comments than the under-eye hollow. Conservative, doctor-placed filler is designed to soften it, with nobody able to say why.

Reversible

Dissolvable the filler dissolves, not every complication does

The male approach

Less product. More judgement.

The under-eye is the most nuanced area we treat, and men's anatomy makes it more nuanced still. Our default is restraint, the right candidate, the right depth, and the smallest volume that lifts the shadow.

The under-eye, treated territory

Male under-eyes differ

Thicker skin, deeper-set eyes, different depth, different product.

Conservative, staged

Small volumes across two visits. Shadow reduction, never pillow.

Honest triage

The most assessment-dependent treatment we offer, some men are advised against filler entirely.

The work

Under-eyes, unretouched.

Unretouched. The full before/after set is shown at consultation.

Where the mid-face has deflated, cheek structure is treated first, so the under-eye needs less product to sit right.

Dr Bassam Band · GMC 7458919

Dr Bassam Band, MBChB, BSc (Hons), MRCGP, developed the Band Codex, the world's first structured injecting system for the male face, and teaches full-face contouring to doctors internationally. Every treatment here is planned and performed by a doctor. Nothing is delegated.

  1. A £100 consultation. The most assessment-dependent treatment we offer starts with a proper assessment, depth, skin, mid-face support. You leave knowing what your face needs, what it doesn't, and the exact price, whether or not you book.
  2. You decide in your own time. Nothing is sold in the chair, and some men are advised against under-eye filler entirely. If that's you, you'll be told plainly.
  3. Treated, reviewed, guarded. Conservative volumes, staged across visits, performed by the doctor with dissolving agent in the room.

Tear trough questions

Asked before you book.

Will people be able to tell?

The goal is "you look well" comments, not compliments on your filler. Volumes are conservative and staged across visits, so the change reads as rest, not as treatment.

Does it bruise?

It can, the under-eye is delicate. Plan three to five days of social downtime to be safe, and avoid booking it the week of a big event.

What if I'm not suitable?

You'll be told at consultation, and offered the honest alternative, a skin treatment, cheek support, or a surgical referral where that is genuinely the right answer.

Can it be reversed?

Yes. This is a hyaluronic-acid filler, which can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you ever want it gone.

What are the risks?

Bruising and swelling are common and settle within days. Specific to this area: puffiness, fluid retention (malar oedema), or a bluish tint under thin skin if filler sits too superficially, all reasons we place conservatively here, and advise some men against under-eye filler entirely. Rare but serious: filler entering a blood vessel (vascular occlusion), an emergency treated on the spot, with dissolving agent kept in the room. Individual results, and side effects, vary.

What does it cost?

£450 per ml, and under-eyes are deliberately treated with small, staged volumes, so you pay for what your anatomy needs rather than a set package. The consultation is a flat £100, with every price confirmed with you before anything is agreed. The full list is on the pricing page.
