Does it hurt?
It is a short series of small injections across the face. The usual report is brief stinging rather than pain. Any tenderness settles quickly.
When do I see results?
It builds gradually over the two sessions. Skin quality is best judged at around four weeks after the second session, rather than straight away.
How is this different from filler?
Filler builds structure and shape. A skin booster hydrates and conditions the skin itself, it works on quality, not proportions. The two do different jobs, and often sit in the same plan.
How often should it be repeated?
For most men, a maintenance session roughly every six months keeps skin quality topped up. Your doctor advises on timing based on how your skin responds.
What are the risks?
Expect small injection-point bumps for 24–48 hours, sometimes bruising; infection is rare with sterile technique. Skin boosters are not filler, they add hydration and skin quality, not structure, and results build gradually. Individual results, and side effects, vary.
