The male approach

Angles are the point.

On a man, the jaw is treated as structure, not softening. Filler is placed to sharpen the angles you were built with, mapped in millimetres, never rounded off.

The jawline, treated territory

Three markers

A defined gonial angle, a straighter ear-to-chin line, clean jaw–neck separation.

Jawline after cheek and chin anchors, architecture, not just filler.

A shadow that sharpens →

The work

Jawlines, unretouched.

Unretouched. The full before/after set is shown at consultation.

Most jawline plans are designed with the chin as one continuous line.

Dr Bassam Band · GMC 7458919

Dr Bassam Band, MBChB, BSc (Hons), MRCGP, developed the Band Codex, the world's first structured injecting system for the male face, and teaches full-face contouring to doctors internationally. Every treatment here is planned and performed by a doctor. Nothing is delegated.

  1. A £100 consultation. The jaw is mapped as one continuous line, gonial angle to chin, against your whole face. You leave knowing what your face needs, what it doesn't, and the exact price, whether or not you book.
  2. You decide in your own time. Nothing is sold in the chair, and if submental fullness, not structure, is your real issue, filler won't be offered as a fake answer.
  3. Treated, reviewed, guarded. A shadow that sharpens, never width for its own sake, performed by the doctor with dissolving agent in the room.

Jawline questions

Asked before you book.

How much filler does a jawline take?

Typically 2–4ml across both sides, depending on your starting structure and the look you are after. The exact volume, and the price, is agreed with you before anything is opened.

Will it look obvious at the gym or in the office?

The change is typically immediate but subtle. Done properly, the result reads as definition, not as filler. You look like yourself, better defined.

Does it work with a beard?

Yes. The line reads through stubble and a full beard, and framing improves it, a defined jaw gives the beard a cleaner edge to sit on. We map the angle to how you actually wear your face.

What about my double chin?

Filler will not fix it, it defines the jaw, it does not remove fat beneath it. If submental fullness is the real issue, Endolift and other approaches are discussed honestly at consultation, rather than selling you a result filler cannot give.

What are the risks?

Common and short-lived: bruising, swelling and tenderness for a few days, occasionally a small firmness you can feel while it settles. Uncommon: asymmetry that needs adjusting, or filler that needs dissolving. Rare but serious: filler entering a blood vessel (vascular occlusion), an emergency the doctor is trained to recognise and treat on the spot, with dissolving agent kept in the room. You leave with aftercare instructions and a direct contact for any concern. Individual results, and side effects, vary.

What does it cost?

£450 per ml, and a jawline typically takes 2–4ml across both sides, the exact volume, and therefore the exact price, is agreed with you at consultation, which is a flat £100. The full list is on the pricing page.
