Reversible

Dissolvable the filler dissolves, not every complication does

The male approach

The male nose is a different brief.

A man's nose is not a smaller version of a woman's. Every decision here, where filler goes, how much, and where it deliberately doesn't, is made to keep a face reading masculine, not softened.

Male profile after non-surgical rhinoplasty, a straight masculine bridge, unretouched

The nose, treated territory

A straight line, kept masculine

Straight or slightly convex, never scooped. The scooped bridge is a female result.

Millimetre camouflage

The hump hidden, the tip lifted, the profile planned as one line with your chin.

Doctor-only territory

The highest-risk area in aesthetics, mapped, protocolled, dissolving agent in the room.

The work

Profiles, unretouched.

Unretouched. The full before/after set is shown at consultation.

This is not surgery, a large nose isn't made physically smaller, and major reshaping stays surgical. You'll be told where the limit is before you book. Many men get the strongest profile from nose and chin treated together, see dermal filler pricing.

Honest triage

Is it for you?

Filler adds; it cannot take away. Here is where it genuinely helps, and where the honest answer is something else.

Good for

A profile that needs straightening

  • A dorsal hump you want camouflaged into a straight line
  • A tip that drops, or drops further when you smile
  • Small asymmetries and a bridge that reads crooked
  • A profile that needs balancing against the chin

Usually a different tool

What filler is unlikely to fix

  • Making a large nose smaller, filler only ever adds volume
  • Narrow the bridge or reduce the nostrils
  • Breathing problems or a deviated septum, which are medical and surgical questions
  • A weak chin making the nose look bigger, that is chin filler first

Most men cannot tell from the mirror which of these they are, and the nose is the one area where guessing is expensive. That is what the £100 consultation is for: the doctor reads your profile and tells you plainly whether filler is the right answer, a different area is, or nothing is. Nothing is sold in the chair. Book a consultation.

A nose is read against the chin and the jaw, never on its own. If the whole profile is the real question, that is the Band Codex, our full-face harmonisation.

Who treats you

The doctor other doctors learn from.

Dr Bassam Band, GMC-registered aesthetic doctor
Dr Bassam Band · GMC 7458919

Dr Bassam Band, MBChB, BSc (Hons), MRCGP, developed the Band Codex, the world's first structured injecting system for the male face, and teaches full-face contouring to doctors internationally. Every treatment here is planned and performed by a doctor. Nothing is delegated.

  1. A £100 consultation. Your nose is read against the whole face, profile, chin, brow. You leave knowing what your face needs, what it doesn't, and the exact price, whether or not you book treatment.
  2. You decide in your own time. Nothing is sold in the chair, and if less, or nothing, is the better answer, that is what you'll be told.
  3. Treated, reviewed, guarded. Performed by the doctor with dissolving agent in the room, and reviewed at two weeks so the line can be refined.

Nose questions

Straight answers, before you book.

Does it hurt?

Numbing cream is applied first, and the usual report is brief pressure rather than pain. The whole appointment takes 15–30 minutes, and you walk out and get on with your day.

How quickly will I see the result?

Typically immediately, most men see the straighter line before they leave the chair. It settles fully over roughly two weeks, and a review is included at that point so we can refine if needed.

What if I don't like it?

Hyaluronic-acid filler is dissolvable: a small dose of hyaluronidase breaks it down within days, so you are not locked into a look you're unsure of. The filler is reversible, the rare complications covered below are a different matter, and exactly why careful assessment comes first.

Is it safe?

The honest answer: the nose carries the highest vascular risk of any filler area. Very rarely, filler entering a blood vessel can permanently damage skin or, in exceptional cases, vision. That is precisely why it is doctor-only here, full anatomy mapping, emergency protocols and dissolving agent always in the room, and why you are shown the warning signs before you leave. Expect bruising, swelling and tenderness for a few days. Individual results, and side effects, vary.

What does it cost?

£450 per ml, and most noses need exactly one. The consultation is a flat £100, and every price is confirmed with you before anything is agreed, no surprises in the chair. The full list is on the pricing page.
