Dermal filler is a hyaluronic-acid gel placed under the skin to add structure where the face lacks it. On a man, that is almost never about plumpness. It is about lines and angles: a chin that projects, a jaw that separates cleanly from the neck, cheeks that support without rounding.
The male face fails when it is filled like a female one: rounder cheeks, softer angles, a heavier look. Placed structurally, the same product does the opposite, definition without width.
Hyaluronic-acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme the doctor keeps in the room. That is a safety property and a commitment: nothing here is a one-way door.

How much filler will I actually need?
Less than you fear, usually. Does it hurt?
Less than most men expect. The products contain local anaesthetic, numbing cream is used where it helps, and appointments are short, 20 to 45 minutes by area. Expect pressure and the odd sting rather than pain, and some tenderness for a day or two after.
How long do results last?
Typically 12–24 months in the structural areas, jawline, chin and cheeks, and a little less under the eyes and in the nose. The product wears gradually rather than falling off a cliff, and maintenance is agreed with you as part of the plan.
Can filler be removed if I change my mind?
Yes. The hyaluronic-acid fillers we use can be dissolved with an enzyme, usually in one short appointment. It is one of the reasons we use them, and the dissolving agent is kept on-site. The honest caveat: the filler dissolves, not every complication does, which is why prevention and doctor-led treatment matter more than the exit door.
